Which is the right tariff for me?

We offer six domestic tariffs for small and medium homes, depending on whether you use electricity to heat your premises and hot water.

General Domestic

Our General single-rate tariff is suitable for all your electrical appliances.
All units used on your electrical appliances will be charged at this rate whatever time of day or night they are used.

Economy 7

Economy 7 is made up of two rates, a Day Rate and a Night Rate, giving you seven hours of cheaper electricity for all appliances used at night.

Economy 20

A flexible two-rate tariff with 20 hours of cheaper electricity for approved space and water heating. Suitable for central heating systems, underfloor heating or electric flow boilers, providing heat and hot water when you need it.

Economy 20 Plus

Our 24-hour, uninterrupted heating tariff, providing 20 hours of discounted electricity in every 24 hours, for heating your home and water. Four peak hours charged at the Economy 20 Plus Rate.

Economy 8

This two-rate tariff gives you two set periods of four hours of lower cost off-peak electricity. Between these eight hours, you can charge up heat storage appliances to cost-effectively power your home all day.

Comfort Heat

This three-rate tariff gives you eight hours of low cost electricity for heating your home and water.
A further eight hours of discounted electricity for all other appliances used during the low cost period at night.

We offer two Maximum Demand tariffs for larger homes and a Buy Back tariff for domestic customers with approved embedded generators.

Standard Domestic Maximum Demand

A single-rate tariff for large homes that need a service capacity greater than 100A (three phase). Suitable if you don't regularly use electricity to heat your home or water.
