The Government's low carbon heating incentive is a financial incentive to help move households and businesses away from fossil fuels.

Those with an oil or gas heating system can now apply for up to £9,000+ match funding towards a low carbon alternative.

They provide renewable heat, are incredibly efficient, easy to install and good for the environment.

Switch on this winter

Terms

£67 per month is based on an air source heat pump installation of £16,000, discounted to £8,000 after the Government of Jersey Low Carbon Heating Incentive, with payments spread interest free over 120 months.

§£28 per month is based on an electric boiler installation of £6,700, discounted to £3,350 after the Government of Jersey Low Carbon Heating Incentive, with payments spread interest free over 120 months.

*Based on an expected seasonal coefficient of performance (average energy efficiency) of 400% for an Air Source Heat Pump compared to an 85% efficient non-condensing oil boiler.

**Based on an expected average cost per unit of useful energy of 4.0p for a 400% efficient air source heat pump, compared to 24.7p for a 90% efficient gas boiler. Prices as of January 2025.

**Based on an expected average cost per unit of useful energy of 4.0p for a 400% efficient air source heat pump, compared to 10.1p for an 85% efficient non-condensing oil boiler. Prices as of January 2025 (electricity) and December 2024 (oil).
