Lis's background and experience

Lis was appointed to the Board in June 2020. She held a series of roles during 27 years with Accenture, most recently, in 2006-2009, as Managing Director for Public Service in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

Before this (2003-2006), Lis was UK Managing Director across all the private and public sector work in Accenture. She also served on the UK National Employment Panel, working with Lord Leitch; on the Technology Board of the e-skills Council and the CBI President’s Committee.
She returned to Jersey in 2020 having retired from 10 years working as a non-Executive for Her Majesty's Government; notably at the Ministry of Defence, Foreign Office, Home Office and UK Sport.

During this period she was a trustee of the Social Mobility Foundation and is now an Emeritus Governor of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), having served a 10-year term as Governor.
She also served as a non-Executive Director at Digital Jersey between 2012-2019.
