For home Help EHC Eco Save Heater guide

Setting the temperature for each mode

The EHC Eco Save Heater has three temperature settings:

  • Comfort (shown by the sun)
  • Eco (shown by the moon)
  • Frost prevention (shown by an icicle)

You can move between these settings as many times as you need in a day to suit your lifestyle and tariff. If you are on one of our discounted heating tariffs, we recommend avoiding high temperatures during peak hours.

Setting the Comfort mode temperature

  1. Press the CONFIG PROG switch once
  2. A small thermostat will flash on the right of the screen
  3. Press OK and the sun symbol will appear
  4. Use + and – to set your Comfort temperature

Remember, the higher the temperature the higher the cost. We suggest starting at 18 degrees and increasing it if you are not warm enough.

Setting the Eco mode temperature

  1. Once you've set the Comfort mode temperature, press OK and the moon will appear
  2. Use + and – to set your Comfort temperature

We recommend setting this between 10-12 degrees

Setting the Frost Prevention mode temperature

  1. Once you've set the Eco mode temperature, press OK again and the icicle will appear
  2. Use + and – to set Frost Prevention at five degrees
  3. Press CONFIG PROG to confirm and save your temperature settings

Once you've completed the weekly schedule you'll need to set the current day and time.

Firstly, to set the current day:
