Payment methods to suit every customer

We want to make paying your electricity bill as easy as possible. You can pay you bill in the following ways:

Monthly Direct Debit

Monthly Direct Debit spreads the cost of your electricity over 12 equal monthly payments.

Each month we draw an agreed amount from your bank account on a day that suits you. We base the monthly payment on your past usage, current balance and tariff.

  • Spreads the cost of increased usage in winter
  • No need to pay on demand
  • £3 discount per quarter for paperless billing customers

Variable Direct Debit

We draw the full bill amount from your bank account approximately 18 days after you receive your quarterly statement.

  • Automatically paid from your bank account
  • Never worry about paying in person again
  • £3 discount per quarter for paperless billing customers

Pay online with a debit or credit card

You can pay the full amount or a portion of a bill with your debit or credit card using our online form.

Before starting the online form, please make sure you have your Customer Number and Invoice Number.

Pay online with internet banking

Use the details below to pay a bill using your online banking service.

Pay at a Post Office

You can pay your bill in person at any Jersey Post Office by cash, debit card, credit card or cheque.

  • Cheques must be payable to Jersey Post Limited
  • Take your bill or payment slip with you

Pay at The Powerhouse

You can pay your bill in person at The Powerhouse by cash, debit card, credit card or cheque.

  • Cheques must be made payable to Jersey Electricity plc
  • Please bring your bill or have your Customer Number

Cheques can be deposited in the box provided; please attach your payment slip and write your phone number on the back of the cheque.

Pay by post

If you'd like to pay by post, please send a cheque or postal order payable to Jersey Electricity plc to the following address:
